Welcome at the website of our German Shepherd Kennel "van de Peperbocht".

In 2005 we started talking about breeding our own German Shepherds. We considered all the ad- and disadvantages and in the beginning of 2006 we started looking for a name. We both wanted a real Belgian name, so no "vom" or "von" in the name. A name always have a meaning and that is with our name not different. We chose for "van de Peperbocht" because the part where our dogs are running in our back yard is called "Peperbocht". Since 20 november 2006 our kennel name is officially registered.

With Chena vom Oostweg we have the luck to own a fantastic bitch, so we can start directly with a very good pedigree. At 31 January 2007 our first puppies were born and Gandor van de Peperbocht is still with us. The first step is taken and let us hope that we can reach our goals.

Our goal is to breed German Shepherd Dogs with a good balance between the kynologic part and the character. We may not forget that our German Shepherd Dog is a working dog from origin. We always raise and train our dogs ourselves so it is important for us that they have enough working skills.

We certainly do not want to breed to become rich of it. We will only breed if we want to keep a pup for ourselves. We both think that there are in this world already enough breeders who only do it for the money, we hope that you will have the same opinion as we have.

To stay in touch of the latest evolution of our German Shepherds and to share our passion with others, we are member of the German Shepherd Club in Belgium and Germany (VVDH and SV).
